The processor and the amount of ram they are giving with the Chromebook is really nice. The Design is also great. Full aluminum body.
It is Touch screen.
The battery is really excellent google is saying that it will give a battery backup of 12 hours and with the new USB type C connector just like the one in the mac.The Chromebook will give a battery backup of 2 hours by charging for just 15 minutes . Which is really cool.
This USB type C connector is also cool it is great for fast charging and it also gives a speed of 5 GB/Ps for data transfer.and it can also be used as an HDMI. The adapters are little costly though. The type c USB port is going to be the future thing. Unlike the old USB ports You can plug it in both ways so its easy now to plug stuff in.
One more nice thing is they have put the speakers below the keyboard. And the Keyboard is well lit.
But the biggest drawback would be the Chromebooks operating system it runs nothing but internet based apps most of the people around the world are calling it just as a browser pushover.
The operating system won't do much things so it is stupid of google to put I7 and I5 with the 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM. You don't need to necessarily have an i7 to just run the chrome.
but well google is covering this by saying that this is for developers and the future could be great. yah maybe it could be a thing in future but now it is just a waste of money.
But if you use a laptop just for browsing net and u don't mind paying much it is good but still you will be paying for such a great configuration and all you could do with that is just use bunch of internet apps.
If you are looking forward to buy this thing i would suggest that you shouldn't. unless you have lots of money and don't know what to spend it on.
