The Samsung Galaxy Mega
smartphone will be available to U.S. consumers
this month. Samsung revealed Monday that the 6.3-inch handset will roll out to AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular.
AT&T will launch
the Samsung Galaxy Mega on August 23 for $149.99 for a two-year contract, or for $24 a month under the AT&T Next program. TheGalaxy Mega release date
for Sprint will come later this year, the electronics giant announced Monday in a press release

While other wireless providers are moving away from unlimited service, the Sprint Unlimited Guarantee allows our customers to lock-in unlimited talk, text and data, not for just the next two years, but for the life of the line of service."
The 6.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Mega
smartphone nears tablet size. The latestSamsung phablet
differs from tablet computers in that it makes phone calls. Compared to the 5-inch flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, the Mega expands screen size to optimize media viewing. The large display of the Galaxy Mega is just shy of tablet size, but offers a screen large enough to look at photos and videos.
The Samsung site
states the Mega will come in black and white. Samsung describes the newest Galaxy smartphone as the following:

The Galaxy Mega
runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
with 1.5 GB internal RAM, powered by a removable 3,200 mAh battery. The latest colossal Samsung smartphone features a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and a sharp LCD 1,280 by 720 resolution.
