Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with 5.7-inch full-HD display, Android 4.3 launched

Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Note 3 phablet at the sidelines of IFA 2013 in Berlin.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
 comes with a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display, but weighing at 168g and 8.33m wide, is both lighter and slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Note II
. Just like theSamsung Galaxy S4
, the Galaxy Note 3 will come in two variants. The LTE variant will be powered by 2.3GHz quad-core processor and the 3G version will be powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with 3GB RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera alongside 2-megapixel front camera. It is powered by 3,200mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. As rumoured, the Galaxy Note 3 will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants, with the company doing away with the 16GB variant after controversy on the available storage with the Samsung Galaxy S4
. Both variants come with support for up to 64GB of additional external storage.
Connectivity options on the Note 3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 (LE), IR, and MHL 2.0. It comes with various sensors like Gesture, Accelerometer, Geo-magnetic, Gyroscope, Proximity, Barometer, Temperature & Humidity, and Hall Sensor.
Samsung says the Galaxy Note 3 will launch starting from September 25 in more than 140 countries around the world. There's no word on pricing yet.

Back To The Future As Samsung Releases Flip Smartphone The Flip Phone Will Let Users Switch Easily Between ‘Work’ And ‘Home-Life’ Settings.

Samsung announced the launch of ‘the Hennessy’, a dual-screen flip phone, on Thursday.

Unlike most smartphones currently on the market, Samsung
’s new device flips open, with a touch-screen on both the outer- and inner-surfaces of the handset.
Images of the device were leaked earlier this month.

Both 3.3-inch screens come with 320x480 touchscreen displays.
The smartphone runs an Android operating system and comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, along with 1GB of RAM.
It features a five megapixel rear camera and microSD slot.
Samsung is targeting the phone at the Chinese market and there are currently no plans to release the device in Europe or the US.
However, an unlocked version could potentially work abroad as dual-SIM support is included for both CDMA and GSM radios.
The company said the phone was aimed at those who wanted to move on from “the old school” in a statement on their Chinese website.
Users can send and receive messages and browse the internet without opening the screen of their device, the South Korean company said.
It also contains a function to let users switch easily between ‘work’ and ‘home-life’ settings.
Samsung was the number one mobile phone handset-producer in the world over the second quarter of 2013 according to estimates by research company Gartner, with more than 107m units sold.
This put it ahead of Nokia, with 60.9m units, and Apple, with 31.8m.

Samsung will unveil its ‘Galaxy Gear’ smartwatch in Berlin on September 4, reports claim.
The South Korean giant hopes its new device, which it has already confirmed is in development
, will give it a headstart against Apple.
The iPhone-maker is claimed has 100 engineers working on their own watch.
Sony has already introduced a watch-style companion for its smartphones, but the Samsung model will go further and be able to make phone calls, surf the web and handle emails on its tiny screen, 
Bloomberg claims.
The Galaxy Gear will be unveiled on September 4, at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, the agency claims.

Samsung Galaxy Mega Release Date: 6.3-Inch Smartphone Rolls Out To AT&T, Sprint And US Cellular.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega
 smartphone will be available to U.S. consumers
this month. Samsung revealed Monday that the 6.3-inch handset will roll out to AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular.

AT&T will launch
 the Samsung Galaxy Mega on August 23 for $149.99 for a two-year contract, or for $24 a month under the AT&T Next program. TheGalaxy Mega release date
 for Sprint will come later this year, the electronics giant announced Monday in a press release

Samsung To Introduce Their First Foldable Touchscreen Device ?

Samsung has plans to introduce their first foldable touchscreen device begin next year..
The Samsung GT-B9150 will use a 5.3” sAMOLED HD DUAL display. According to techjailbreak
this new Android device by Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy Q.
Samsung will also use their new EXYNOS 5250 processor for it. More specifications are a 8 Megapixel camera (back) and a 2 Megapixel camera (front), 2GB RAM, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3500mAh battery.

Samsung To Ship Galaxy Note III From September, Galaxy Gear Smartwatch From October.

and the Galaxy Gear
smartwatch are all but confirmed
to be ready for an official unveiling on September 4th,the third-generation Note will start shipping in the same month it is announced, while the smartwatch will arrive in the market from October.
Our source mentions week 36 as the likely time when the Note III will begin shipping, while the smartwatch will be shipped around week 40, though a delay of a week or two may happen, depending on region. It is also confirmed that Samsung is dropping the 16 gb variant, which is great news looking at how the 16GB variant of the S4 leaves little usable space for the end-user (and also because lower than 32GB of built-in storage on flagship devices just doesn’t cut it any more).
Samsung has repeatedly shown their resolve to bring flagship devices to market soon after announcement, so expect to see both devices available for purchase in stores and online retailers in September and October. We’ll be working hard to bring you more exclusive info on the Note III and Galaxy Gear, so stay tuned.
